Program Concept

OVERVIEW: This trade program is designed to showcase Sipsmith's gin smithery and how to bring that same passion to modern day cocktail smithery. The essential connection between the two worlds: the role and blending of fresh herbs and botanicals - both in gin making and cocktail making. The Sipsmith Cocktail Conservatory brings these two worlds together to entertain and educate guests in three formats:

Gin & Cocktail Smithery

Sipsmith represents London Dry Gin the way it used to be, through the lost art of gin smithery. We invite trade to experience our passion for doing things properly through a live class on gin and cocktail smithery with local mixologists using fresh herbs and botanicals in cocktail creation.

Create An Easy Herb Cocktail Garden

Option 1: Give trade guests the experience of creating their own herb gardens, and showcase how easy it is to grow fresh herbs popular in cocktail making where they work.

Make Your Own Shrub

Option 2: Make Your Own Shrub! Using fresh herbs, along with fruits, berries and other bases, learn to create your own Shrub cocktail - perfect for using at your guests' home bars. Partner with a local mixologist to host the session.

Host Venue

Local specialty plant store or garden-themed on-premise, based on local regulations/legal restrictions or non-premise permitting requirements.
